For podcasters

Video podcast editing — full episodes and clips, done for you.

Recording an episode takes an hour. Editing it well often takes longer. We edit your full video podcast episode for YouTube and Spotify, and cut the best moments into vertical clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. One team, one upload, one approval step. You keep recording. We handle the rest.

What you get

What's included in every edited episode.

A good edit is one nobody notices. People just keep listening.

Dead air and slips cut

Technical pauses, false starts and repeated explanations come out.

Filler words trimmed, not erased

The distracting ones go. A conversation with every pause removed sounds rushed.

The picture follows the speaker

With two or more cameras, the cut switches to whoever is talking, and to strong reactions when they matter.

Even sound

All voices at the same level, less hum and room noise, steady loudness from start to finish.

Your intro and outro

Your opener, your music, your call to action.

Exports for every platform

A 16:9 video for YouTube and Spotify, plus an audio file for your podcast host. Up to two revisions included.

How it works

How podcast editing works with us.

01

You share the recording

Send a link to a folder or upload the files. We don't touch anything without your go-ahead.

02

We edit the episode

Cuts, sound, camera switches, intro and outro.

03

We pick and cut the clips

Moments that stand on their own: a clear point, a story, a punchline.

04

You approve

You review the episode and every clip, with up to two revisions. Then you publish, or we post the clips to your accounts if you like.

Episode + clips: one editor, one workflow

The full episode is for people who already know you. New listeners usually find a show through short clips. Whoever edits the episode already knows the best moments. That's why we do both.

With Episode + clips you get your edited episode plus 5 vertical clips. Each clip has captions, a short headline in the first seconds and a ready post caption that points back to the full episode. Clips are cropped to the person speaking, so they work on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Want clips only, because you edit episodes yourself? See our podcast clipping service.

What we need from you

The better the raw files, the better the edit. Ideal is:

  • Separate camera files. One file per camera, not a pre-mixed screen recording.
  • Separate audio tracks. One track per microphone or per person. Then every voice can be fixed on its own, even when you talk over each other.
  • A clap at the start. It helps line up sound and picture exactly.
  • Remote recordings: if you record with Riverside, Zoom or a similar platform, send the separate files per participant if your platform saves them. A single combined recording works too. The picture just can't switch between speakers as cleanly.
  • A short list of names and terms. Guests, brands, technical words. We check captions against it.
  • Your intro, outro and brand assets. Music, logo, fonts, colors, if you have them.
  • Timestamps you liked (optional). If a moment stood out during recording, note the time. It helps with clips.

A finished export of the episode is fine as well. Then we work with what's there.

Why hire a podcast editor

Editing yourself costs time, not money. As a rule of thumb, a careful edit takes two to four hours of work per hour of conversation. With several cameras, it takes more. That's time you could spend on guests, research or your business.

When you look for a podcast editor for hire, you'll find three options:

  • Marketplace gigs: cheap and fast to book. Quality and reliability vary from editor to editor, and you may have to brief someone new each time.
  • Production agencies: full service, often including recording and strategy. Usually the most expensive option.
  • A dedicated editing service like ours: fixed prices, fixed deliverables, the same team every week. Episode and clips come from the same people.

Whoever you hire, check three things first: Can you test with one of your own episodes? How many revisions are included? Do you keep all raw files and finished exports? With us, the answers are yes, two, and yes.

Who this is for

  • Interview and business podcasts that publish weekly and want clips without extra work.
  • Creators who started a video podcast and need it to look as good as it sounds.
  • Companies with a podcast or webinar series that should also show up on LinkedIn, Reels and Shorts.

Audio-only? Editing full audio-only episodes is available on request: tell us about your show and we confirm scope and price before you send anything. Clips from an audio-only show work with your cover art, a title and captions on screen.

FAQ

Questions about Podcast editing

How much does it cost to edit a podcast episode?

With us, an edited episode is $85 excl. VAT ($101.15 incl. VAT) at founder price, and $105 excl. VAT ($124.95 incl. VAT) with 5 clips. Across the market, freelance editors charge roughly $50–200 per episode and full-service production $400–1,000 and up (market range, as of October 2026).

Do you charge per minute or per episode?

Per episode. You know the price before you send the files. Some editors charge per minute of finished audio or per hour of work. That makes long or messy episodes hard to budget.

Is there a monthly plan for podcast editing?

Yes. Podcast monthly covers 4 episodes and 20 clips for $369 excl. VAT ($439.11 incl. VAT) a month. Podcast Pro covers 8 episodes and 40 clips for $689 excl. VAT ($819.91 incl. VAT) a month. Both can be cancelled monthly.

How long does it take to edit a video podcast?

As a rule of thumb, a careful edit takes two to four hours of work per hour of conversation, more with several cameras. When your edited episode comes back is agreed with you before the first order, so it fits your release day.

What do you need from me to edit my video podcast?

Ideally one file per camera, one audio track per person and a clap at the start. A list of guest names and terms helps with captions. A finished export of the episode works too.

Can you edit Riverside or Zoom recordings?

Yes. Send the separate files per participant if your platform saves them. Then we can switch the picture to whoever is speaking and fix each voice on its own. A single combined recording works as well.

Is it worth hiring a podcast editor?

That depends on your time and your goal. If editing eats your evenings or your episodes come out late, it usually is. Try the podcast pilot with one of your own episodes before you commit to anything.

Do you make thumbnails too?

Yes, as an add-on. A thumbnail in 2 versions is $25 excl. VAT ($29.75 incl. VAT), an A/B pack with 3 versions $35 excl. VAT ($41.65 incl. VAT), and a monthly pack for 8 videos with 2 versions each $149 excl. VAT ($177.31 incl. VAT).

Can I try you before committing?

Yes. The podcast pilot is $29 excl. VAT ($34.51 incl. VAT): one edited episode plus 3 clips, no subscription. It's credited when you book a package afterwards. It's a paid trial, not a free one.
